Kids Grow Better In Families

Welcome Hamilton County DJFS Foster Parents:

  • Diversion values the experience foster parents have providing safe, nurturing stable homes to foster children.
  • Diversion has experience working with children ages 0 - 18.
  • Our Case Managers work with the foster family to coordinate services focused on many areas of a child's treatment plan including but not limited developmental delays, medical issues, educational delays, and behavioral management.
  • Diversion provides weekly case management services to families.  Our staff will support you through the challenges and joys of providing care to children in need.
  • Diversion has a Case Manager available to foster parents 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
  • Diversion Case Manger's have small case loads so they are able to work with your family to find solutions to problems when they occur.
  • Diversion is offering transfer incentives because your experience working with special needs children and helping them overcome obstacles to reach their goals is priceless.
  • Diversion will work with families through the adoption process if applicable.

  • Diversion understands this transition was not expected and we want to work with families to make this a seamless transition from Hamilton County to Diversion. Let us worry about the paperwork, etc. so you can continue to put your resource and effort where it matters most caring for the children.
  • Diversion understands that you have very busy lives and you need an agency that is able to help you with this transition after hours and on weekends.
  • Diversion is able to share more information on the transfer process through our informational meetings. If you are not able to attend a scheduled informational meeting a Diversion staff member will meet with your family in your home.
  • We would like the opportunity to discuss with you in detail the transition of your foster home certificate to our agency.  Please contact April Logan at 1-800-927-1018 or Stacy Shaw at 1-800-824-3007 or complete our contact page for more information.  We look forward to talking with you.
